The middle east needs at least one side with the capability of matching the Israeli Terrorist Force (the ITF) in strength. As long as Israel's terrorism and ethnic cleansing of the Palstinians goes unchecked, there cannot be peace.

If Israel ever ceases to exist and all the jews are killed, this time it WON'T be through anti-semitism. Israel and jews have a right to exist, but NOT to commit crimes as heinous as the Nazis perpetrated against them.

I see it as anouther step in the militarization of the Middle East. It takes more than just tanks to win a war. Russia is taking advantage of the fact that the US is unliked right now and arming its friends. I cannot really blame them since this is exactly what we woudl do if we could. Right now I see three major powers playing for who will be on top: USA, RUSSIA and CHINA. A fourth possible power will become the EU once they become more fully intigrated. The Isrealis are being sold down the long road to none existance. It seems they have lost the balls they once had. I cannot blame them since they are forever being attacked by suicide bombers, Hezbola and the international community. It looks like the tinderbox which is the Middle East is alight again and more fule is being poured into it. This time the fuel is Russian Tanks. What is next? Isrealii nukes?

I don't think that Russia has any modern military equipment.

Do you remember how badly the US beat Iraq in the first gulf war? I'll give you three guesses where Iraq bought their equipment.

Was it:

a) Iran
b) Acme Tank Company

or

c) the former Soviet Union?

Since Israel is a full generation ahead of Russia and has superior war theater technology, it's actually possible that Israel could be RUSSIA in a war!

Syria is a joke. That's why they use Hezbollah. Hit-and-run is all they've got.

"Russia sells try against jets to Syria?" And why no longer? that's capitalism, toddler. "The deal could cement Russian opposition to worldwide efforts to place stress on Assad's regime over its tries to snuff out the rustic's revolt." something i do no longer bear in mind that we presented some sanctions against Syria. Oh confident, the sanctions have been administered the U. S.. properly, adult men, who bothers you (you do admire the U.S., isn't it?) to no longer sell arms to Syria? "The U.N. says extra advantageous than 5,4 hundred human beings have died over 10 months." So what? Boy, we are CAPITALISTS: they pay money to us - we sell the products to them. and how plenty they slaughtered your mercenaries we don't care. you do no longer attempt to squeeze a tear out of me with the help of your socialistic babble. "Russia's foreign places Minister Sergey Lavrov stated final week that Moscow would not evaluate it mandatory to furnish a proof or excuses over suspicions that a Russian deliver had introduced munitions to Syria in spite of an ecu arms embargo." And for what we ought to make excuses? For which you, the socialistic pigs, attempting to dodge unfastened commerce? "Are the French going to stay quiet this time around?" Oh yeah, that's frequently occurring: first frogs wasted each and all of the capital and then starts off yelling that efficient human beings make their money dishonestlyon. Do you think of the Germans might actually assist you, beggars?

There is nothing that Russia makes that can beat the Merkava main battle tank. And if need be, the US can send Israel M1A2 Abrams main battle tanks, and that will certainly defeat any armor Russia can produce.

Oh, did you forget? Israel has US made Apache helicopters with Hellfire missile systems. That will defeat any Syrian armor.

Also, Israel is not a terrorist country. If you want to see terrorists, look straight at Syria.

I'd love to see a link showing the Russians have an export tank that isn't a low-rent upgrade of the T-80...

Regardless, US is still about 20 years ahead of Russia when it comes to R&D...

when it comes to supplying foreign countries with weapons then there's a no hold bar policies, the problem comes when these countries turn them on the supplier, like America in Afghanistan. The American supplied Afghanistan when Russia invaded them, and then cried wolf when they turned the weapons on them. If the Americans hadn't supplied them, then no doubt Britain or France would have, its call Business !!

Firstly, one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. It shows ignorance to refer to another state as a terrorist and considering the amount of ignorance floating about in the world, the last thing anyone needs is arms sales in the middle east (or anywhere else for that matter)

I think it's a great idea.

It's kind of a waste, though. Sell all that stuff to Syria just to have it destroyed in 6 days when Israel kicks their a s s again...
