As Thailady4... referred you to www.asiarooms.com, they have reviews of most hotels they list. Some have only good reviews because they are that good. Some have good and bad reviews because they are not consistent. For USD 150 per night you better have a good experience. You might want to separate this into USD 100 per night in Bangkok and USD 150 per night in Phuket. I found that Phuket was a bit more expensive for the same level of quality.
In a country you can find a 4 star for under USD 60 per night. I am not sure why you jumped in per night rates.

The 'best hotels in Bangkok and Phuket' have NO room at that price, the cheapest room in such places are quite a bit more expensive than that.

A good room in a 3-4 starhotel should not run you over $40 - $50 a night TOPS! And for that money I want what I would pay $200 for a night in the USA. There are too many good hotels to be found. Now if you are pampered and have to have a flower and mint on your pillow each night, go ahead and waste your money... it is your money.

Book direct from the hotels at www.directhotels.com. You can find a good list based on your budget and you have a link just in case you change your mind again.

it somewhat is subjective and difficult to respond to, so what you actual choose is a gadget which could gain your answer. attempt the pages under and style the celebrity rankings, expenditures and places to perceive the terrific deal. this is the only way. i'm hoping this helps
