whey protein is nothing more than a supplemental protein powder it is is derived from milk. protein powders are more economical then buying meat, eggs, etc. you get more grams of protein for your money.

creatine is actual a acid that is used to create adenosine triphosphate (ATP). ATP is the cellular energy source that is used to perform muscular contractions. you can actually "feel" when the body has run out of ATP when exercising. take the sprint of example. you are running all out and all of a sudden your legs get heavy and you start to slow down, your muscles can't contract as they could in the beginning of the sprint. the leg muscles have depleted all available ATP stores. you walk around for a couple of minutes, the body replenishes ATP and you can run another sprint. same thing in weight room when you can't preform any more reps, the target muscle(s) have run out of ATP. you rest for several minutes and your perform another set.

whey protein is just supplemental protein. the body can't tell the difference between amino acids from whey protein or a steak.

creatine is a cellular energy source used for strength training. so how does creatine help to add mass. with creatine you can increase strength. as strength increases you can apply a greater working load to the muscles. with the proper diet and a caloric excess when the muscles repair they cross-sectional area is increased.

* if you are new to weight training all you need to use right now is whey protein before and after training with some carbs. you can also use it to bring up the protein content of a low protein meal. when trying to increase muscle size along with the training the intake of protein, carbohydrates and fats must all be increased. protein is just one of many pieces to the puzzle. simple adding supplemental protein to the diet does not mean that the muscles will automatically increase is size.

Creatine is not a test. booster its a cell volumizer due to the fact that creatine increases the amount of water that muscles take in. In essence making them bigger and stronger then muscles without creatine supplements. Some people gain up to 5 lbs the first week or 2 just from the added water in muscles. This vastly improves strength.

Protien powder is exactly that, a powder used to supplement very fast digesting protien which is great pre or post workout help aid in recovery and promote the anabolic muscle building state. It is not a cell volumizer like creatine its only purpose is to fuel your muscles with the amino acids that your body needs.

If I'm not wrong, creatine is "supposed to" promote production of
testosterone, (a horomone resposible for muscle growth among
other things) there are studies supporting and contradicting this
statement, but if it helps, Mcguire(hope I spelled it right) the
homerun king of yor, was on creatine among other things,
where as whey powder is just good protein wich would help
in muscle recovery and repair. Should creatine work it would be
a very legal and effective alternative to steroids.

I will try to keep it simple. Your metabolism is basically the rate at which your body burns calories to create energy. So the faster your metabolism, the faster you burn calories and the easier it is to lose unwanted weight. To boost your metabolism naturally you just need to eat the right foods.

You can sit down and literally eat a 1,000-calorie dinner and yet be absolutely starving just a few hours later and the reason is simple: Because your body didn’t get what it needed in those 1,000 calories so it sends signals to your brain telling you to ingest more calories and thus, the late-night cravings. That means that the surest way to end those late-night cravings and keep your weight loss goals on track is to eat a more balanced, nutritious diet that actually gives your body what it needs.

It's VERY EASY to lose weight if you eat the right foods. Check out Dr. Charles Livingston's video here: http://www.drcharleslivingston.tv - it will blow your mind.
