Good and bad luck doesn't exist.
If you made wrong decisions then you will have a moment when wrong situations emerge... that is just a consequence.
There are also some times when all the things look wrong... and they really don't depend on you. So just wait and you will see that was worth to wait. You will be able to see easier the good opportunities.
Don't waist time and even in bad periods start preparing the environment for "good luck"... study, improve your knowledge, help people, get new friends, travel, be the best at something.
---- forget about spirits! otherwise we could say that all poor people in Africa is being followed by spirits? come on man!

Aask it to leave you alone, that you have done it no ill. How do you know it is bringing you bad luck? It may be trying to steer you clear of the situations in which you are having bad luck. For instances, if you are doing something and you feel the spirit's presence, and then something goes wrong. (What I mean is if you are only aware of it's presence when things go wrong..it could be warning you. ) The spirit is with you for a reason, as I said at the start, ask it to leave you alone, as you wish it no ill.

Assuming you are a christian....
1) Ask God if there is any reason it has the legal right to afflict you (lack of forgiveness is a big issue)
2) Pray in the name of Jesus, rebuking it and telling it to not come near you.
3) If there are still problems seek advice from your church

Firmly Tell the spirit to go away. Don't let your self feel scared/frightened by it, as negitive spirits will feed off of these emotions.
Keep thinking positively, keep thinking that your a lucky person, the more you admit to bad luck entering your life, the more will come.

Do you honestly believe that?
I suggest you pray to God that He'll keep you safe.
Here's a reasuring verse from the bible, psalm 91:
1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare of the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I am trusting him.
3 For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from the fatal plague.
4 He will shield you with his wings. He will shelter you with his feathers. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor fear the dangers of the day,
6 nor dread the plague that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
7 Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.
8 But you will see it with your eyes; you will see how the wicked are punished.
9 If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter,
10 no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your dwelling.
11 For he orders his angels to protect you wherever you go.
12 They will hold you with their hands to keep you from striking your foot on a stone.
13 You will trample down lions and poisonous snakes; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!
14 The LORD says, "I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name.
15 When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue them and honor them.
16 I will satisfy them with a long life and give them my salvation."
