Sorry I don't know, has she been around other dogs by herself, my mum has a westie and she behaves oddly all the time, she often goes for days without eating much then she gorges, she is often trying to dig holes in the carpet, I don't think your dog is pregnant, maybe she has a fantom pregnancy of is coming into season, westies have funny habbits, maybe it is just their breed, but they are so lovable and playful.

If your vet says so, then he's probably right.
It's now time to learn how to care for the pups, and also how to screen and check for GOOD homes for them - otherwise they'll probably end up as landfill like thousands of other dogs from backyard breeders do each year.
Get the dog spayed so you don't have this problem again.

If you don't mind spending the money they can do a sonagram if you are concerned and want to make sure. If she is pregnant by "accident" and you are using her for breeding that you may want to know for sure and to also make sure that there are not any other health issues involved, also if you are breeding her you would want to know especially with her unusual behavior. Hope this helps

Get her scanned so you know for sure whether she is. It was irresponsible of the vet to just say wait and see because you need to prepare for any new arrivals. Scanning isn't that expensive and it would put your mind to rest once and for all.
