I think it depends on how much you value your friendship with your best friend. If he/she is over him/her then yeah, theres not a problem but you should talk to him/her about it in case you end up ruining your best friendship just for a fling. As hot as the ex might be, there could be some lingering emotions about the relationship and you need to consider both your friend and your own self worth. Are you sure the ex isn't doing this just to get back at your friend somehow? if you are and there are no tensions between anyone then yeah go for it. I just think you should consider your best friends feelings before you go and sleep with their ex.

Of course not!! There is a code amongst friends. Never date each others ex. You will lose your best friend behind that. Although they may not want them, they certainly don't want you to be with them.

Technically you can sleep wit the friends ex cos he's not wit her anymore but its gona create problems wit you and your best friend.. Cos althou he's not wit her anymore he could have a prob wit u bein wit her. Maybe you should speak to ur friend about it tellin him you attracted to his ex and if its ok wit him if u persue this.

I dont think so. My opinion. Unless this person is somebody you are really truly interested in. Too many fish in the sea, possible complications with your best friend, blah blah blah.

I did, and now we are getting married. He is happy for us. Just make sure he is cool with it first. Oh, and remember the Man Rule, 1 year after the breakup at least, unless she is smoking hot.

If your best friend is a guy and he broke up with her, then go for it...
