cooked salmon in it and when i use it still get a fish smell

Rub it down with a wedge of lemon and then grill a few slices of lemon in the grill for a few minutes. I've never done this but lemon rubbed over your hands will remove fish or onion smell from your skin; so it seems to me if you grill the lemon it might pull that odor from your grill. And if it doesn't it won't hurt it and there'll be a nice lemon scent in your kitchen.

Lemon juice. I would use fresh lemons squeezed into a small basin with a small amount of boiling water. Using a clean cloth, wipe the grill thoroughly. Alternatively, you can use bicarbonate of soda. Put a heaped tablespoon of bicarb into a basin and add hot but not boiling water, about 4 tablespoons. Mix until the bicarb has dissolved and then wipe over the grill. I

use a fresh cut lemon to wipe over the surface, then clean as usual, this also works for most food smells in the fridge!

Try to apply leamon juice to it. After few hours it can't smell fishy.

You could try wiping it down with white wine vinegar. Works in saucepans!
