I've lost my fav pet bird. it's a sunconure baby bird which has just learned how to speak 'hello & rub head'. it flew out fr the pet carrier's box when my dad forgot to locked the top latch while bringing it to a vet to have its flight feathers trimmed.
i've searched n posted flyers around my neighbourhood.
1 man replied saying that a colourful bird like mine has flown into his home, and he has given it to a bird shop near to upp.serangoon rd. he accompanied me there. but the shoplady was so rude!
the moment she saw the man & me, she started to raise her voice & scolded us. saying that he was a stupid man. it was just a pigeon, so she let it go.
Curious, on the next following day, i went to the shop again with my friend, again she scolded me, this time she said that it was a meaningless small sparrow. not a sunconure.
i was so sad and helpless. i just need an honest truth fr her. i still hope that i might find my lost pet, even though it's impossible.

I'd walk in to her store with a police officer, and see if she still wants to yell then. Maybe that would get a straight answer out of her. Do you have any photos of the bird, or any way of proving its yours? Take those along too. Good luck
