I read an answer from Randy D in another question, here's the link if you wanna check it out: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Am1EYC5DG8XWXDFcByC2Jvzy7BR.?qid=20070304011715AASk7gI
And here's what he said if you can't be stuffed:
I know you might find this hard to believe, but as a serious studier of the Bible over the past 20 years, I have found NO words in the Bible that "outlaw" or ban premarital sex. Homosexuality, yes . . . it is banned very specifically. Premarital sex, no, . . . it is NOT banned, in either Old or New Testament. God Bless you.

So I would like the chapter and verse references that ban
a) premarital sex
b) homosexual sex in general
c) homosexual sex between two women

im not a christian but i can answer the question

Leviticus
18:22
Homosexual acts are an abomination to God. 18:22

Leviticus
20:13
If a man has sex with another man, kill them both. 20:13

Deuteronomy
22:5
Women are not to wear men's clothing -- it's an "abomination unto the Lord." 22:5

Deuteronomy
23:17-18
God says not be bring any whore, sodomite, or dog into the house of the Lord. For "these things are an abomination to the Lord." Sodomites and dogs are biblical names for homosexuals.

Romans
1:26-28
With his usual intolerance, Paul condemns homosexuals (including lesbians). This is the only clear reference to lesbians in the Bible.

Romans
1:31-32
Homosexuals (those "without natural affection") and their supporters (those "that have pleasure in them") are "worthy of death."

1 Timothy
1:10
Homosexuals (those "that defile themselves with mankind") are included on the list of lawless, disobedient, unholy, and profane people.

It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. -- 1 Corinthians 7:1-2

For I would that all men were even as I myself.... I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. -- 1 Corinthians 7:7-9

hope this helps

I do grow tired of the subject, but the reliance that many people have upon unscriptural doctrine is all too common. I therefore am struck with a need to explain and do so dutifully. The real answer I will say, is beyond what you are asking though.

a) premarital sex
In the Old Testament, people would get married by 'knowing' the wife. There were no priests at the time. If you 'knew' a woman, you would be married.

b) homosexual sex in general
Homosexuality in the Bible was a condition that is referred to as both ritual and also a form of prostitution. The free acts of non ritualistic and other than prostitutional forms of homosexuality was recorded in Genesis where the angels that visited Lot in Sodom were propositioned.

c) homosexual sex between two women
The reference in Romans 1 is clearly one about Lesbianism.

After all that: In ALL these cases the homosexuality was a symptom of something else much worse than the act of homosexuality in itself. And that was the distrust of the true God. Those in Sodom could have escaped, homosexual or not, IF they trusted in the message of God that said the city would be destroyed-- run! But they thought that it was a joke in one instance, they simply were too caught up in their 'lifestyle' to open their hearts and minds to God's word. So they all died at that time.

The message is the same here. If you trust in the Lord Jesus Christ you will be saved. It was about trust in Sodom, and it's about trust now. So Homosexuality, while being a sin, is not really what is important in the subject of salvation. It's trusting God. It's always been about trusting God. It will always be about trusting God.

The above answer is good however it does not define 'fornication'. What is fornication? Scripture never defines it and so it is up to the spiritually aware to be able to understand it. This is a really sucky answer but it is why Jesus spoke in parables - so only a few would understand. Without the Holy Spirit it is impossible to understand God's Word. For your part you should say that premarital sex is against God's will for us as is homosexual sex.

So much is said in Scripture about our eyes being opened, if they are closed then of course it is impossible to see. It is all or nothing with God - that's just the way it is.

Get a NEW Bible!

1 Corinthians 6:18
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
1 Corinthians 10:8
Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
Galatians 5:19
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Ephesians 5:3
But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
1 Thessalonians 4:3
For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
Romans 1:25-27
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

PREMARITAL SEX: 1Thess. 4:3-8 "This is waht God wills...that you abstaind from fornication; that each of you should know how to get possession of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in covetous sexual appetite such as also those nations have which do not know God; that no one go to the point of harming and encroach upon the rights of his brother in this matter, because Jehovah is one who excats punishments for all these things, just as we told you beforehand and also gave you a thorough witness. for God called us, not with allowance for uncleaness, but in connection with sanctification. So, then, the man that shows disregard is disregarding, not man, but God, who puts his holy spirit in you."

The Greek word por.nei'a, tranlsated "fornication," refers to sexual intercousre between unmarried persons, also to extramarital relations on the part of married persons.

HOMOSEXUAL SEX IN GENERAL /HOMOSEXUAL SEX BETWEEN TWO WOMEN

Rom. 1:24-27 "God, in keeping with the desires of their hearts, gave them up to uncleanness, that their bodied might be dishonored among them...God gave themup to disgraceful sexual appeties, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and liekwise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their list toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error."

1Tim. 1:9-11 "Law is promulgated, not for a righteous man, but for persons lawless and unruly, ungodly and sinners,...fornicators, men who lie with males,...and whatever other thing is in opposition to the healthful teaching according to the glorious good news of the happy God."

Lev. 20:13 ' And whena man lies down with a male the same as one lies down with a woman, both of them have done a desteable thing...there own blood is upon them.'

Jude7: " Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities about them, after they...[had] gone out after flesh for unatural use, are placed before us as a warning example by undergoing the judicial punishment of everlating fire."

the name sodom has bcome the basis for the word "sodomy", which usually desgnates a homosexual practice.

I can think of the story of Joseph when he discovered that Mary was "with Child" before they were wed....he thought of quietly disowning claim to her as his promised wife until an Angel of the Lord came to him in a dream and said that he should not be afraid to take Mary as his wife for the child within her is of the Holy Spirit and the Child of God. So...if God thought it important enough to send Joseph a special messenger, then God knew that Joseph's heart was heavily burdened with any fears that Mary had been unfaithful before marriage. Pretty heavy stuff, if you stop and think about it....

Most important are Jesus words...judge not, lest you be judged. This is Jesus new covenant.

If you take the Bible and God at his word, there are much more serious sins along with dire punishments...eating shell fish and working on the Sabbath were sins that God said should be punished by stoning to death.

Fornication is sex outside of a committed relationship, can be unhealthy for some because it can lead to guilt and emotional turmoil. But who is any mortal to judge you. You will know inside yourself what is right for you. That's what Jesus says.

i think sex outside of marriage is called fornication ... i think theres really less condemnation if a couple has sex and then marries ... the danger is when it doesnt work out ... multiple times ... a woman is bonded to a man for life i think is the general rule borne out ... homosexuality or beastiality is clearly wrong in multiple places in the old and new testament and the only way its not is to rationalize what was said ..
