The co-worker literaly sits 1 meter away from me

I give him rides home every night

Just stop asking him. If he really wants to go, he'll ask you. Then, you have some options!

1. Be happy that you can finally do it, if on his terms.

2. Give some mild snarky response. Something along the lines of but wittier than "second tuesday of next week, definitely. i love all those times we've had together."

3. Blow him off hardcore. Tell him, dress up, it's a fancy place, or even a costume party. Then say, meet me at such and such trashy bar, I got my directions from there. And enjoy him at work tomorrow bearing all the signs of having the **** kicked out of him.

This person is not a friend, he is a freeloader who is taking advantage of you.

Blowing you off once could have been an accident, but not twice. Just tell him honestly that you don't think he's acted like a friend should, and make plans that involve going in a different direction after work. You don't owe him any more consideration than he showed you.

Not exactly classy but return the behaviour. Next time he needs a ride answer with the same enthusiasm as he does about the drinks then leave him standing on the curb. Maybe he think about using you for a ride and then placating you with the social card.

Tell him he needs to find his own way home for a few days that you have plans and are not going to be able to give him a ride. If he asks what you have going on, tell him why in plain simple English that he screwed up and did not have the courtesy to even acknowledge his error.

Just don't go with him. Tell him you already have plans, then go find a different drinking buddy, or better yet, take up jogging.
