The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God; and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will he find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for:
The dignity of man rests above all on the fact that he is called to communion with God. This invitation to converse with God is addressed to man as soon as he comes into being. For if man exists, it is because God has created him through love, and through love continues to hold him in existence. He cannot live fully according to truth unless he freely acknowledges that love and entrusts himself to his creator.1
28
In many ways, throughout history down to the present day, men have given expression to their quest for God in their religious beliefs and behavior: in their prayers, sacrifices, rituals, meditations, and so forth. These forms of religious expression, despite the ambiguities they often bring with them, are so universal that one may well call man a religious being:
From one ancestor [God] made all nations to inhabit the whole earth, and he allotted the times of their existence and the boundaries of the places where they would live, so that they would search for God and perhaps grope for him and find him—though indeed he is not far from each one of us. For "in him we live and move and have our being."2
29
But this "intimate and vital bond of man to God" (GS 19,1) can be forgotten, overlooked, or even explicitly rejected by man.3 Such attitudes can have different causes: revolt against evil in the world; religious ignorance or indifference; the cares and riches of this world; the scandal of bad example on the part of believers; currents of thought hostile to religion; finally, that attitude of sinful man which makes him hide from God out of fear and flee his call.4
30
"Let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice."5 Although man can forget God or reject him, He never ceases to call every man to seek him, so as to find life and happiness. But this search for God demands of man every effort of intellect, a sound will, "an upright heart," as well as the witness of others who teach him to seek God.
You are great, O Lord, and greatly to be praised: great is your power and your wisdom is without measure. And man, so small a part of your creation, wants to praise you: this man, though clothed with mortality and bearing the evidence of sin and the proof that you withstand the proud. Despite everything, man, though but a small a part of your creation, wants to praise you. You yourself encourage him to delight in your praise, for you have made us for yourself, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.6
Peace and every blessing!

I chosen to leave that worldly existence and now i'm a lot a lot happier with only God. I particularly have a objective now and understand deep down i'm on objective. before I felt like i became getting into circles. God is marvelous. Its alright to doubt. I had my time yet do not supply up. search for and also you are able to discover. God is so genuine. start up questioning about the probabilities of each little thing being so suitable for existence. each human cellular has more suitable recommendations then 30 encyclopedia brittanicas. Scientifically God can never be proved. Only intuition can show you the way to God. You see some furniture, but you have not seen the carpenter who has assembled it. For that reason you can not assert that furniture exist on its own. See the grandeur of creation. From minerals, vegetation, living creatures, planets, milky way and cosmos, can anybody ascertain they exist by themselves. Even inert materials contain electron, proton and neutron. Everything is in constant flux. The earth, the ocean and all these can only be attributed to a supreme power. It is boundless and exist always. Can we cause any change in the sky even after nuclear bombardment, the sky is absolutely unaffected. Can you imagine the power which has created the sky. It is subtler than the sky. It can not be gaged by the mind. Now we consider the mind as supreme. The moment life leaves this body, can the mind function with a dead body. We can call this supreme power as God or almighty or any name you like. Because it is attribute less. As butter in the milk, God exists and he could be felt in a clarified intellect and without the medium of mind. In fact mind is an obstruction to realize God-nagarajan.

100 years ago this question would have been diffcult one when science was in a primitive stage. But today the smallest particle we know is electron, virus etc which is 10 power minus 30metre. Man cant even perceive 1/1000th of a millimeter. Still we infer such dimensions from our research and work with such smallest things. Our Universe boundary is 4 billion light years away from us. When man cant even perceive 1 light year and now only our space craft has reached jupiter and expected to reach Pluto in 2015 or so. Distance of Pluto may 5 or 10% of one light year. Still using the super computers we calculate 10 power minus 30 and 10 power 30s. Today's scientific advancement has made man think that he needs proofs for the existence of God which itself is against science. Science itself is based on certain "Faith in Unseen Things" In Physics we assume an imaginary particle called Photon & with this basis only Material Physics & electronics was developed to today's level. In Maths we assume Limit tends to Infinity and solve many complex real time problems. What is this Infinity?? It is beyond our senses. Like wise we have so many "Faiths " in today's science. The proof for the existence of God is within ourselves and around us in plenty. No limit to this. Religion is far superior than science. Science is only a subset of Religion. Among all living things only Man is created with 6th sense. When he see, hear, feel something his brain will make him to conclude another thing from that sense. When we see smoke at a distance we believe that there is fire without seeing the fire. Same applies to God.

There are many figures of written history which show no physical proof or paintings of their existence and yet we modern thinkers don't question the written history of these famous and infamous men and women. The reason, I believe, that so many choose to question the existence of Almighty God is the fact that He does not allow man to question His Word as total Truth. It is a matter of ego and pride that we must find alternatives so that we are not condemned for our sins.

Consider this : An archaeologist digs deep into the desert sand and finds a piece of an old clay pot. After his investigations, this archaeologist can tell us, from this little old piece of dusty clay, so much about the civilisation that existed thousands of years ago that produced it; he can tell us about the types of ovens, temperatues, and dyes that they worked with, the raw materials that they used, and thus assess the level of their artistic skill and technological ability, etc. All this from a small piece of clay lying in the desert.
Did this archaeologist ever see the civilisation that produced this pot ?
How does he know that it ever existed ?
He knows because he saw that the piece of clay was produced by someone who designed it, and shaped it, and had the intelligence to be able to heat it and produce the pot, and not only that, they also had the ability to colour it and make it look beautiful.
Design ==> Designer.
To the archaeologist the existence and intricacy of the piece of pottery is conclusive proof of the existence, intelligence and ability of the people who made it.
Look around you: at the beautiful sunset on a summer evening, at the moon and the stars on a cloudless night, at the water that you drink, at the trees and how they grow from tiny seeds.
Think about yourself: your eyes with which you see, your ears with which you hear, your tongues with which you taste and talk, your hands and your feet, your heart and your brain.
Consider how these things are so complex in themselves and yet work together in such perfect harmony.
From the movement of the galaxies to the complexities of the interaction of molecules, from the dynamics of eco-systems to the intricacies of DNA, all lead to the obvious fact of the existence of the great Wisdom, Knowledge and Power that allows our Universe to exist and function.
To any perceptive person the existence and intricacy of creation is conclusive proof of the Existence, Knowledge and Wisdom of the One who creates, organises and sustains it.
Most people naturally recognise the existence of the Creator, and we find reference to the Creator in all cultures and religions. Even the atheists, communists and (disbelieving) scientists cannot avoid this reality, but avoid the term 'creator', for phrases like 'Mother Nature' and 'the amazing way nature has designed...'
How strange in the face of this, that many today reject the belief in the existence of the Creator. Perhaps this is due more to fashion and the desire to justify a materialistic attitude to life rather than real observation and comprehension of reality.
Something stranger still, and perhaps another reason for the trend to deny the Creator, are those who claim that a man, or men, who walked on the earth, breathed air, who had bodies and souls subject to the Laws of the Universe, are the Creator, or manifestations of the Self-Subsistent One.
This is of course a complete contradiction in terms. Something cannot be the Creator and created at the same time, needing air, food and drink and being self-sufficient, being temporary and eternal!
If you are one of those who believe that a man such as Buddha, or Krishna, or Jesus is the Creator and Controller, then think again.
We were created from a drop of despised fluid, in which was a microscopic sperm, which in turn fertilised a microscopic egg and we grew in our mother's womb in stages predetermined, over which we had no control. We came from our mother's womb, urinating and defecating, needing constant attention and care. Without food we will die, without air we will die ... and then such a one is God?
Indeed any intelligent person would recognise exactly how dependant life, the universe and everything is on its Creator. Our dire need for His help makes itself plain in times of great distress.
Imagine yourself in an aeroplane and you know it is going to crash...
Who do you turn to for help then ?
Or on a ship in the sea, thrown helplessly up and down by towering waves ...
There will have been a situation at one time or the other in your life when you called upon your Creator alone, forgetting everyone and everything else, hoping, trusting, wishing that the Being you know in your heart and soul that has power and control over all things would help you. The only One you know can save you!

You are considered to a atheist if you have no faith to the general population. Faith is what man believes that GOD is the creator of the universe. What will happen if there is no god? 100% of the universe would be completely inexistent. Try to be logical, use your feelings that God is the central supreme ruler. Do not let this contradict Science. This is my suggestion and my opinion only.

Faith is the suppressing of intellect and causes people to believe the impossible. If a person claims to have faith, they can get away with the most bazaar ideas and still be respected.
Faith is a very convenient thing to claim to have when something isn't understood as society tends to smile on it while ridiculing simple stupidity.

the only thing our eyes can see is visible light reflecting off of lit up matter which makes up less than a fraction of a fraction of a percent along the electromagnetic spectrum. our eyes cannot see the other 99.9999% of rays that make up the electromagnetic spectrum so im sure somewhere within that range is the spirit of God.

Basic common sense tells us god cannot exist otherwise he would not create such an unhappy world irrespective of who people tell you creates suffering for us.
May B: The world and universe was, is and always will be. It was neither created, nor can it be destroyed.
