Why does my Digital Audio Broadcast Radio keep losing the signal.
There I am listening away ....then suddenly...no noise.
The signal has dropped out yet again.
I have to switch the radio off then back on again , I find this annoying especaily when listening to something I want to hear.
Does this happen with Digital Tv.
The station I listen to ( or try to listen to) is BBC Radio 2.

Unfortunately, many DAB broadcasts in the U.K. are very patchy, quite often with a weak signal.

If you have any way of mounting a rooftop aerial for your radio, this will greatly improve the reception.

If it is a portable radio, there isn't really a lot that can be done until the broadcasters boost up their signals and install more transmitters.

The link below shows present coverage. As you will see, there are still many areas where reception is a bit random...

Make sure that it is not over heating. Keep all vented ports free from be blocked up and if you stacking components keep it on top, or by itself. These devices run hot and like alot a air to keep them at a normal operating level. Also a signal booster is another possiblity, just buy a quaility on so it will filter out any noise instead off amplifying it as well.
