Tonight I went to the club with my friend. I am 20 and he is 21. Well I ofcourse wanted a drink so he bought it for me because I am underaged and the bouncers ofcourse drew X's on both hands. Well a bouncer noticed I was drinking and because of the fact that I look soo young it made it easier for him to spot me. I had long sleeves and did my best to cover the X's up but it was too little too late. The bouncer told me to follow him and I thought I was going to be arrested as well as my friend for buying the drinks for me. Well the bouncer asked for my drivers license and he wrote down all my information. I guess the bouncer saw how worried I was and I wasnt arrested but I am not allowed back into that club again. But I just wanna know what would have happened if I did get arrested??? And why did he take all my drivers license information down??? Will this be on my permanent record???

I think your friend can get into more trouble than you. He's supporting underaged drinking.

Bad news bears.

Then again, drinking in general is bad. :p

Fact #1: The "good cop/bad cop" scenario. Tho' he was only a
bouncer, he could very well be an informant.
I had a friend who was being tracked by a dirty cop. He arrived at her door one day, AND RAPED HER--in front of her 5 yr. old son!

He had been the pO involved initially in her arrest for DWI (drinking &driving). He was stalking her. She knew that there was little hope, as she also had been buying & selling pills to make ends meet, & to cope with her situations. She decided to press charges...and NOTHING CAME FROM IT. (as she feared).

Now, since this bouncer did not call the PD on you; I would be "on guard" @ all times. This man NOW has your personal info; namely--YOUR ADDRESS! *It seems extreme, but I would move. Iknow...it really sounds paranoid, but I would feel altogether unsafe knowing that some stranger had my personal info.!!!

If you have other friends who frequent this club--have THEM butter him up ( so to speak) and find out first and last name! I believe that it is available in all states to look people up, and find out if they have any crimes, re-curring harassment or stalking...etc. Just type in your browser "your state" public records online. IF YOU ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET THIS GUYS FIRST AND LAST NAME!

Just be careful, he should have given you his note-taking of your license directly back to you since he did not call the PD.!!!! THERE IS NO REASON AT ALL FOR HIM TO RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL INFO!
Be safe,honey, pls be safe.

If you did get arrested then it will go on your permanent record. he took all your information so that they will remember not to let you into the club or tell the police about it later

You wouldn't get arrested for that, your friend would. They won't do anything with your info.

(There is a reason for him to retain your personal info - To keep it on file so you won't re-enter the club again, start drinking, and they lose their license over this.)

You probably would have gotten a ticket for Minor in Possession of Alcohol, and your friend arrested for Providing Alcohol to a minor. (arrestable offense)
