I like any of the Century Stadium theaters because they are convient since they are located everywhere and they have newly updated concession stands and newer, comfy seats. BUT I enjoy going to the Tower Theater in the summer because there is the beautiful cafe next door with outdoor seating. It makes you feel like you are in a garden with fountains. But the theater lacks comfort and isn't that newly restored. They are trying to raise money for it too improve it otherwise they might have to close it down. SO support Tower Theatre because maybe someday it will be a better theater and not like its not a bad theater but the seats are squeaky, flat and sometimes I'm afraid I'll sit on a needle because the inside is so old and dingy. So hopefully you can go to both theaters.

It depends on what you are looking for. For artsy fartsy type films either the Tower on Broadway, or the Crest on K street.

For mainstream films I would recommend the Century Complex at Greenback and I-80. I am pretty sure it is the newest theater complex in Sacramento. The seats are comfortable, the popcorn is fresh and hot. I really like that complex.

for independent films you should go to tower or crest (both downtown) and both old style theaters. If you are looking for mainstream and comfort I recommend the Natomas theaters and the Centery Stadium, both are large theaters with stadium style seating.

Bring your own snacks, they are expensive everywhere!
