If my sins outweigh my virtues then I ought to be scared of it. A mere faith- in- a- saviour is self-deception. The deeds shall be weighed of the faithful human, not the faith alone.

No I don't buy into the judgement day idea.
Even assuming there is a God there is no way that God can judge any human action based on anything but how that God would see reality. If that God dwells outside of time / is all knowing then it would be impossible for that God to relate or understand why anyone would do what they do.
Such a being would see our lives like a tapestry not in a day to day process where the outcome is a mystery.

I think god will make a lot more sense than the christians. He should be an enlightened being coming to teach us and show us we made it hard for ourselves....like unexperienced children. That is if god is an entity in that way. Perhaps god is much more vast, he is all that is, the higher channels/frequencies of existence, and all the energy in it. Acting as an intelligent, knowing, therefore loving being. Seriously, doesn't the word judgement apply because of dominant stupid men with an inferiority complex?? Do you think god would have a need to scare us, the will to?
Mam, do you have any idea how vast the earth is? Not to mention the solar system or universe....he's probably delighted of our own existence and survival. As if humans created a biological ant-like robot world, and they prospered....would you want to judge and punish them???

ADMONISHMENT IN RIGHTEOUSNESS
O.T. 1110 years, books 39, done 443 BC. N. T. 50 to 100 years CE, 27 books, KJV Biblr 1611 published, at 303 years is 1914 CE and WW1, an excepted translation for the end times.
John 12:47,48; Jesus said,"The words I speak, the same shall judge him at the last day.
Heb.9:27; It is appointed unto man once to die and after this the judgement.
1Cor.15:22-28,51-53; As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. ALL MADE ALIVE IN ORDER.
Rev.20:1-6,2,13 [ No Satan for 1000 years ];
The heavenly first, for the new heavens are with Jesus at his second coming to resurrect the earthly for the new earth.
I look foward to the judgement day. As John 12:47,48; I am trying to get my lessions just right for the GREAT TEACHER, and for his and our God and Father, I want to know and understand the whole of the WORD, the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth and I am prepared to make any corrections, or except any corrections that might need to be made, if any, in my studies of this most precious WORD OF GOD THE BIBLE.
I LOVE IT AND ALL WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING IT HERE.

You think it's near, just like everyone in every era has thought it was near....and was able to "prove it" via the bible....if you couldn't, nobody would be scared into "belief" You know what I think? Everyone dies. Everyone is born, everyone dies, and the rest is a matter of choice, and when it's all said and done, you're worm food. There is no "judgement day" or any mythical apocalypse....there is only the threat of it, b/c without that threat, religion would never survive.

People have been afraid of the day of judgement for as long as christianity has existed. At the millenium before last - New years eve 999 - 1000 A.D, millions of people literally abandoned their homes and possesions and there was mass chaos as the roman catholic world prepared for the judgement day they were all certain of.
Even before christianity, there has always been talk and fear of the 'End of the World'.
So no, i think its pointless to be afraid of something you have no knowledge of and no control over.

What day of judgement? Who says there is one? God does not judge anyone because he loves us all and neither is the world coming to an end. How do I know? I am a spiritualist medium and I have been told by those in the spirit world or Heaven as some call it.

No I have every intention of asking jesus what kind of dog and pony show of absentee parentage he thought he was running here.
If there is any sort of christian style god as so often I have heard proclaimed then that god has a lot to answer for
Judgement day isn't going to be nice for jesus at all - he if he is even close to what people say he is IS a massive and unparallelled failure

it is depending to u.. if u had made a lot of sin in your life, you should ask God forgiveness NOW!! so that u can go to heaven (if God forgives you) . if you did not made a lot of sins, you shall not be afraid, but, ask forgiveness from the rest of your sins.
i believe in it, and i think it's near. the bible in revelation tells a lot about the judgement day

No I am not scared I haven't treated any of Gods children with hate or bigotry but I don't think you will see too many fundamental Christians up there they judge to many people and dont forget that's Gods job.
