I would sit down with her right away and explain to her that she should wait until she is married. I would get as many pictures off of the internet that shows the sexually transmitted dieseases that she could get by having sex with multipul partners. Explain to her that she would be disrespecting her body by having sex, and people call girls that have sex outside of marriage really bad names. Explain to her that she would be taking her life in her own hands by having sex with random people that she is attracted to. Aids is a diesease that kills. If you are a Christian you need to tell her that the Bible says that if you have sex out of marriage, it is a sin against God and against your own body, because the body is the temple of God. By showing your daughter some videos about girls delivering babies and how it affects their lives in a negative way, might be a good way to open her eyes. You could also have her babysit a baby day and night for just a day or two and tell her that is what her life would be like if she had sex and got pregnant. If you don't have someone that she can babysit, the schools have babies in the junior high health classes that cries when it is hungry, wet, fussy, etc. The child can take this home and it will keep a log on if your daughter did what she was suppose to and if she was not gentle enough with the baby it will show up on the record as if she abused the baby. The dolls are the weight of a baby, they are set up to eat , sleep, fuss on a 24 hour a day seven days a week, waking them up for at least 20 minutes several times a night. After your daughter takes care of this baby for a week, it might change her mind. I would let her know the truth about her having sex out of marriage, and give her the full picture of what her life would be like if she got pregnant.

It used to be too young and unheard of but not anymore! I dont know why but kids are starting way earlier than they did even 5-10 years ago. I used to work in child welfare and I knew many many sexually active 11-12 year olds.
Talk to her about sex now - otherwise you might end up the youngest grandparent on your block!
The good news is (if you can call it that) is they tend to start w oral & anal sex these days so you still have time hopefully@!

Talk to her to make sure she actually KNOWS not just here say. Try to make her relize all the **** that comes with that. If worse comes to worse i'd barrow a friend or family members baby, if one of them has one, and show her 1 responsibillty that may come with sex. Something i've learned is when a kid get curiouse then they try to find way's to explore that curiosity. I would tell her everything... even the pics. of what can happen. I laugh at horror films and thing pictures of people with an std is nauseating.

grab a stiff drink calm your nerves and sit down with your 10 year old. It sounds like it's time for the talk. Be open honest and answer all the questions she may have. Talk honestly about her reasons for feeling the need to have sex. Be honest about what can happen if she makes the choice to have sex. talk about birth control,STDs and Babys.Lets face it it's going to happen sooner or later. We all hope later but the sooner she has the tools to make the right decision the better.

she must have herd (?) of it at school??You should have given her the talk a billion times by now. If you haven't explained it to her yet, you are a very irresponsible parent. Kids start the foundation of sex ed at school in kindy, and are having it regularly by 10. It's probably her term subject at school, of course she's interested. Most kids want sex at around her age, shes probably hitting puberty, just be glad shes open enough to talk to you about it. I'm still not open about talking to my parents about ANYTHING!!

ten is way too young, but i can honestly say that i wanted it at ten. I didn't completely know what it was, but I wanted it. Nowadays there's tv and everything thats crawling with sex. They learn it from there and from other kids that have already had the "sex talk"

10 is way too young. Are you sure she even knows what sex really is, instead of just running her mouth thinking it's a funny thing to talk about? A lot of kids are like that, they hear something from their peers, and they repeat it even if they don't understand. You should have a talk with your daughter, make sure she knows the details of it... and if she really wants to have sex, try to talk her out of it for her own sake. She is way too young, and when she gets older and finally understands, she'll thank you for it.

Ten is way too young for that. Sit her down and talk to her. Make her realize that waiting for the special person in her life is the best way to do it. She's still a child.
