No, it isn't weird at all. I say more power to you. In fact, listen to the song "Standing outside the fire," by Garth Brooks. Even if you aren't in to country music, it has a good message about this type of thing.

I'm 22 and happy single even though seem to have guys interested. i know we are at different ages and points in our lives but i don't see anything wrong with being single if thats what you want. My uncle is 50 and only ever had one girl (who broke his heart which is probably why he never trusted again). hes since been single and happy (i think!). if you're happy then who cares what others think? I know plenty of people who have been married and separated and now enjoy being single more. i work with a guy whos in late 40's with 5 kids who says he'd never be with a lady again as he enjoys life by himself with no woman nagging him :-p

Makes sense. You already have kids so why do you need anyone else. You already have lost the prime reason, to procreate, sex, etc. so being in a relationship probably wouldnt add anything to your life.

I don't think you're gay or weird for being happily single. Being single is nice sometimes...you don't have anyone there to tell you want to do and whatnot.
I think it's perfectly normal.

As long you are happy being single, that's all it matters.
