i heard "goodbye" word actually is derived from the phrase “God be with you”
so,if theist say "goodbye",it against the disbelief in the existence of any deities in atheism.

I heard that Christmas (Yule) and Easter were all previously Pagan religions that the Chrustian church stole.
So if you celebrate these does that mean you are a hypocrit?
In our culture you can't analyze words the way you are trying to. Words original origins have many times been completely lost in the pages of history. If by my saying goodbye that really means I am not an atheist then I call foul on that statement. If your saying that I can't say goodbye if I am an atheist then I say fine because I don't say it anyways.

Did YOU know (and this is true) that the word "silly" meant "pious" in medieval times? So if someone calls you silly you should own up. (And you can look this up in the OED.) Words evolve. Just like everything.
