You can still generalize without saying "all", you know.

That's like "MOST Christians are empty-headed dingbats.... but I'm not GENERALIZING or anything".

There are all kinds of people. There are people who are rude and self-centered. Some of those people happen to be atheists. Don't read too much into it and DON'T generalize.

You know what? It is because they aren't walking in the light of God. I understand that you are an athiest and it is not my job to judge you, I can explain to you what I've learned through my Christian life and pray that you, too, will someday see the light ;) Christians have to think of more than themselves, they are constantly thinking of God, so they tend to be less self centered. If you have nothing else to do, you should try it. You might like it. Good luck, girl!!

It could be that the way you approach them is perceived by them to be rude or self centered and you are just getting back what you are sending out.

Keep in mind your ideas come from your perceptions and that is extremely subjective!

I don't know...most of the atheists I've ever talked with have shown me a lot more courtesy and respect than various sorts of theists ever have. (And bear in mind I am a polytheist.)

Your name is misleading.

As is your question. Begging the question. I think it is founded on false assumptions. :)
