Martin Luther famously called reason the enemy of faith, referring to it as a "whore" that should be destroyed.

Thinking more often than not leads to abandonment of faith (which is after all about accepting without question). Not believing is a sin. Ergo, thinking is a sin, right?

You forgot the other Martin Luther quote.

"Let us sin mightily", he reportedly said, "that grace may abound".

Help me out, just so I'm clear here: was he telling us to reason or not?

Luther was a nutjob.

Thinking is not a sin in Christianity. If anything, NOT thinking is a sin.

Because when people don't think, it's often because we're being lazy -- with is sloth.

I often get the feeling when talking to certain christians that it is quite the sin.

if u think bad of a person and curse the person in ur heart that is sins
but it also depends on the situation if the person is very wrong than we will have to take action
