We HATE the false religions, because it's FALSE, and leads people straight to hell. We HATE the false religions, because SATAN, who is the father of lies, runs them, and uses them to keep people away from the truth! Judges 2:2.

We do NOT hate their followers, however. God loves everyone, but God doesn't like their sin.

Of course, it WILL cause divisions. Do you think God, or His followers, would just sit back and allow Satan to control others without a fight?! Religion, causes divisions.

“So there was a DIVISION among the people BECAUSE OF HIM” John 7:43

Jesus Christ said plainly in Luke 12:51 — He came to cause DIVISIONS:

"Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather DIVISION:" Luke 12:51

Did anyone who answered, including the Christians, bother to read my post? If you didn't, your answer is quite pointless, really.

I believe there are divisions because God understands the way we are. If everything is the same all the time we become bored and lose interest. The divisions cause us to search, keep things to the forefront and, hopefully, after all is said and done...find Him. People act like the devils disciple wanting their own way and wishing to impose their will over someone else. That is total selfishness and God didn't treat us that way...He gave us the power to choose to love Him or not. Why should we treat people differently. People need to learn of the tremendous love God has for them and His wishes to be with them He is preparing beautiful homes for those who take time to get to know Him and enjoy spending time with Him. He mercifully would never force people into His Kingdom that would not be happy with the lifestyle there. If only people knew how much better their lives could be. How could we feel anger and hatred to those that are in a lost condition? They are missing out on the true peace, love and joy that only comes from God. We should have love in our heart, tears in our soul and a prayer on our lips when we warn people of the impending judgment. It won't be long now will it... for those who know. Have a good one. Mmm

I have read your question and post and as one who has participated here for some time, I advise against asking a question so as to make a statement only. As a Christian, it is disturbing to me to see questions seemingly asked to cause division. These happen often enough without prompting. Remember also, Christianity is not supposed to be a religion, it is the Truth of Jesus Christ to the Glory of God the Father.

As a Christian, I can say that I honestly do not HATE any other religion or their followers. I have found in all of my fairly extensive religious study that most of the major religions (Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Paganism, Hinduism) validate each other.

Yes, Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, but that is not to discount many other extremely valid points that many of these other faiths hold that Christians, far too often, tend to deny.

Brightest Blessings

Luke 12;51 division does not equal hate.
But just a difference,
Christians do not 'hate' others with a different view, but sincerely want them to find out just WHAT is the truth of it all.
(2 Peter 3:9) Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.

And he has a group wanting to tell everyone just what that truth is.

who has knocked on your door lately?

You must understand that Christ causes divisions because he is the light of the world, and allows us to see truth and untruth, to choose good over evil. Thus the divisions.

I agree with you 100% we aren't being Christians if we hate other people for any reason. God is the only one to judge. We are suppose to pray and hand it over to god. Even forgiveness. It means to give it to God. We aren't suppose to judge or discriminate against anyone. At least that is what I was taught.

1 John 5:12
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Salvation is a Person, not a religion.
For that reason I hate every religion.
I love the people by telling them the truth.

"Well then I am going straight to hell, ain't nothing going to slow me down, yes I'm going straight to hell, so I'll jump up on the bar and holler one more round!" -Hank Williams III

I don't follow your religion, I do not believe in your God or your devil.
And yes, I read your question. My faith is a part of who I am, it runs through my blood. If you hate my religion than you hate me.
