Religious people often tell me they are open minded. Asking questions. Listenning to everything. How can this be when they believe in eternal and infinate rewards? Is there any way to be more jaded?

I marvel at the fact that they seem to think they DESERVE eternal rewards--they're some of the most spiteful malicious people I have ever met! If anyone has earned eternal torment it's them, but they really think their jeesus-god will save them no matter who they hurt--it's sickening

I don't understand how currently believing that I will get eternal infinite rewards in heaven would make me not want to listen to reasons why I might be mistaken about my beliefs.

If this were true Internet spamming scams would be a lot more successfully they promise all sorts of rewards, and if the promise of rewards was sufficient to have people close their minds to whether they are real then everyone would go for those scams.

No I'm sure I'm opened minded, but I also believe what I believe until I'm given solid information that contradicts it.

Well, all things pass in time and yet life goes on. If all that you have passes then you're lost. The only way to find what matters and is not illusion is to find the eternal. Maybe it's not what we think. But all the shallow cheap things of the day really have no lasting value. So I'm with the religious people on this one, even though I'm not all that religious myself.

You appear to be mixed up. What do you mean by 'religious people'? Yes, we Christians ask questions. No, we don't listen to everything. We only listen to what is true and holy.

Can you define open minded please. That is a real intelligent word. I know the word eternal it has to do with the soul and spirit. But your term open minded is that to open the mind to the deep secrets of Satan and his Secret underworld Society. Bondage and Slavery, s that what your open minded means in truth.

Yes - a belief based on nothing and that this Universe created itself. Ask yourself how consciousness arose - out of atoms? hardly.
