No I don't agree millions have been murdered under Communist rule. It has always been a stupid form of government.

I do not know the idea behind asking this question but I MUST SURELY congratulate you, EVEN AFTER KNOWING THE DOWN FALL OF USSR you are convinced the real spirit of Humanity is communism. Any country practising communism is not making much progress or their citizens are equal. No question of agreeing. Communism is only a means of making some people amass wealth and turn capitalist.

Actually I believe that communism, or rather the principles and ethos behind communism is a Biblical concept...

Acts 2:44,45 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

What we know and perceive as communism is based on a distortion of this ethos by man thus turning it into a dictatorship, desire for power and greed as is the natural inclination of man.

Sadly communism in the true sense of all being equal and sharing everything etc cannot truly work outside the realms or concept of Christianity because of the desires of man.

No doubt I will take a bit of a bashing for this from some Christians (I am a born again Christian myself) or otherwise whose view of communism is based on what has existed in different countries and been erroneously labelled as communism.

I have been to Albania on many occasions (a former communist country, actually the only country that officially declared itself athiest and for example displayed a large banner at its main airport for all to see stating 'There is no God'.) This country broke off relations with Russia and then China considering their regimes too lax...

There was a time when the country ran out of bread while the then leader Enver Hoxha and his 'faithful' had all they needed and more... Just a typical example of a country being labelled communist but being nothing more than a dictatorship.

Think of the situation in which Karl Marx wrote the monumental treatise, 'Das Capital'. His was the perfect exposition of the dynamics behind the exploitation of the workers in amassing of wealth by the rich and the vicious circle in which the workers are made to sub-serve the exploitative capitalists. I think this exposition is still very true and unless there is equality between the rich and poor, there shall never be real justice in the world. Communism will not die, as inequality and exploitation persist in the world.

I don't think so, I think it's real spirit is wishing humans were perfect when they are not. If humans were total selfless and would work hard just because it's good to and shared freely all the time the communism would work.

Say and think whatever your little heart desires but there has never been any system on this planet to date that actually worked . Nothing is perfect!
Communism is just a buzz word for whatever govt you have and a rose is a rose by anyother name as well so don't get so hung up on phoney labels ;if the US stayed the same and called it communism tommorrow then that's what it would be just the same .they call the US a democracy or a republic but it's neither in reality so think harder.

True communism would have no leaders but everyone would obey a good set of rules.
The so called communism we have experienced in the world was faulty because the leaders took advantage of people to ' feather their own nest'...Pure greed.

God's future system will be a form of communism, where everyone will be equal.
(Psalm 37:9) For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.

(Psalm 37:11) But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

(Psalm 37:29) The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.

(Psalm 37:34) Hope in Jehovah and keep his way, And he will exalt you to take possession of the earth. When the wicked ones are cut off, you will see [it].

Communism has been tried. It did not work. Capitalism has never actually been tried, because we know it would not work. What people call Capitalism is about as close as the Soviet system was to Communism. A distant metaphor.

I believe the real spirit of "communism" is deception. People are incapable of true and pure communism because of their sinful nature. All communist countries have eventually become dictatorships or military juntas.

No. All of the Communist regimes that have existed have had poor human rights records. In order to sustain an extreme ideological government there needs to be an authoritarian government. The aims of Marxism is equality but its achieving that utopia that is the problem.

Communism, like any other government form, is good and pure, until more than, oh, ten people are involved... then you start to have issues, because the idea was meant for ideal people of like mind, and hey, there really is no such thing, at least not beyond about ten people..
