yes, the cells in your body will realize the consentration of water is higher outside the cell, the cell will in turn allow the water inside of it to make it the same inside and out, but the cell doesnt just get really big with all the water other things that were inside has to leave to go down its consentration gradient. if the cell lets to many nutrients out to counteract the in flow of water it can eventualy die. a lady died around a month ago because of this. she was in a radio contest for a car, the contest was who ever can drink the most water, without peeing wins a car.

Yes as the others have said its called water intoxication.
Just recently it made National News (in the United States) when a Women died in a radio contest to see who could drink the most without urinating. She dropped out of the contest and went home and later was found dead. The cause after autopsy was determined to be water intoxication.

Here is a link to an article about it and to Wikipedia explaining what it is.

Yes and you will feel extremely bloated but You won't
die but you might feel like you are! Why would U want
to drink to much water! All U need is 6 glass a day
and that don't have to be water.. 6 glasses of liquid
will do. Juices like lemon juice, orange juice, carrot
juice, grape juice.
but don't count soda's in them as they contain soda
for every soda U drink U should later drink 2 glasses
of water cause You lose near that after drink soda!
The more U sweat the more water U need!

There was a death in Sacramento, CA within the last few months. She talked about feeling sick before she passed out. The radio station that sponsored the drinking contest didn't realize they should call an ambulance (and a defense lawyer!)

for the healthy individual it is very hard to drink to much water. body size, level of daily activity, time of year, etc. are all factors in how much water a person needs

No. Your body has an unlimited ability to pass water. In fact some people drink so much water at one time that they will be drinking and urinating simultaneously.

YES! Too much of anything can be bad for you.
