It depends on your skin tone... I can lay in the sun 20 minutes and tan but it takes my friends hours and days because they have fairer skin.... i wouldnt do more than 30 minutes in the sun at a time, especially without sun block....

A couple of hours a day should give you a good melanoma....oops, I mean tan.

about an hour, but it depends on how hot it is && how close to the sun you are. wear sunscreen tho, you dont want to be burnt and look african american

I have darker skin, so for me its only about 30 minutes.
