My mum called me on the weekend and told me that her dog was throwing up blood, does anyone know what this means???

Reasons for dogs vomiting bloods:
1. Gastro intestinal upset
2. Pancreatitis
3. Haemogragic gastro
4. Cancer
5. Ulceration of stomach
6. Rat sack poisoning
7. Brown snake bite or other snake
either way non of these are good and your dog needs to see a vet

Bring the dog to the vet because that is bad my brothers dog threw up blood and died today

It means there is some internal bleeding caused from something and it can be fatal if not tended to promptly. If there is a 24 hr veterinary clinic around I would suggest taking the dog to it.

Doesnt sound too good. I would get him to the vet. Sounds like something like a stick or bone maybe obstructing or stuck in his throat or gut. But i would take him to the vet to get checked out.

The might have a ulcer or it could have eat some thing that is cutting into it's stomach or the intestines could be twisted get it to the Dr.
