I made one but the crust was very tough & hard. What makes the crust soft & tender?
These were the ingredients:
1 cup lukewarm water
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
4 tablespoons vegetable oil or margarine
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons flechmans dry active yeast
8 cups water, lukewarm
15-18 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar

I want the bread soft from outside to inside

You need a special oven to make the bread crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
