Try to change the compatibility...Is this a CD Rom game?...if so,Put in the CD Rom, go to My Computer. Right click on the CD icon and select Explore. Find the setup icon, right click on it, and go to properties. Open the properties tab, and select compatibilty. Check the box that says Run program in Compatibity mode for....and select whatever OS the game is meant for, not the one you're currently running. Hope this helps!

Programs not working with Vista is a complaint being heard more and more often on the Internet. It was a topic recently on Cnet, so yes, if you want to play Wolfenstein, the easiest way is to install Windows 98 or maybe even XP. Otherwise, be prepared to get stressed out trying to tweak Vista.

If you mean THE good old Wolfenstein, try to play it on Windows 98 or even Windows 95 :P Seriously, there are more fun and compatible games around.

I bought a new computer with Vista. It gave me a super head ache every time I tried to use my other programs.

I have a 300 dollar HP All in one printer and it isn't compatible with Vista.

When my husband listened to me complain for 3 weeks, he finally sat down and tried to maneuver around in the program. After 2 hours of trying, he was able to understand my complaints.

He took my computer to the place we bought it and had them uninstall Vista and reinstall my old Window XP.

They called and talked to Microsoft and was given permission to buy my Vista program.

The only thing I gained was more CPU.

Now I'm happy as can be.

I have since learned that most everyone is unhappy with it.

It's like buying a nightmare.

Vista homestead is supplied in CD, yet on the shop its attainable in DVD.. merely.. although you may order it from Microsoft. Being your workstation does no longer have an AGP slot on it.. except you ordered yours particular.. there is no thanks to improve your video card. you may receive and run the Vista improve consultant and examine for your self, yet my suggestion, i'm sorry to assert will be to stay with what you've or get a extra moderen workstation. i'm operating Vista homestead accurate fee with 1Gig of reminiscence, and a 256Meg Video card.. Geforce7600 that runs about $one hundred.. I wish I had extra reminiscence.. a million Gig i imagine is the minimum.. even with what Microsoft says.
