I am not sure about hair loss or damage. I can't imagine using so many chemicals on your hair not causing any damage at all. But I do have friends that regularly go for permanent straightening. The reason they have to go reularly is because their roots become curly as your hair grows longer and that's your natural state of hair. The straightened hair still feels soft and nice. So, its all good, I think. Perhaps just a bit time consuming and money consuming.

there are things better left alone. i'd say that you can't influence your hair's form permanently. it's in the genes and it ain't nice to fight mother nature.....you lose!

you've had it long enough to be able to use your imagination to make it and keep it presentable. let's see....corn rows, braids and all sorts of things can be done with even extremely curly hair.

a lot of the time i see things, in fashion, that take almost no effort and it looks fabulous just by its simplicity. and after all you were meant to be somewhere and be somebody and something like your hair ain't gonna stop you......is it?

but you could try a hot oil treatment that you can buy at the drug store. after that, use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner but change brands occasionally so you keep getting good results. and if you aren't already, do your hundred stokes a day in order to spread your natural scalp oil through the entire hair. then see what you got and how you like it.

i hope this meets your need.

...go to the salon and get a consultation...ask them to give advise on what products would be best for your hair because they are professionals and they are also looking right at your hair...we can shout out products but we don't know the actual condition of your hair...you said it's frizzy, dry, has been straightened and is damaged and falling out...YOU NEED A PROFESSIONAL sweetie...I know one thing that you may need is a trim maybe you can make an appointment for a trim and then explain what's going on and ask her what would be good...I wish you well sweetie

You need to wait at least two days after doing the first one to do the second treatment. There shouldn't be any loss to your hair as long as you go to a salon and get it done professionally

I think that it wouldn't hurt to try it once. And if it doesn't go right then the good thing is that hair grows back. So be adventurous and take a risk.
