Question Details: 666 what does it mean? i think its simple, multiples of 6. thats it. take our greek alphabet and use them as multiples of 6 ,hence a=6 , b=12 , c=18 , d=24 , e=30 , and so on ect... next i will give you a name, and the name is {computer}. now add up the numbers for the corresponding letters in the name {computer}. so{ c=18, o=90, m=78, p=96, u=126, t=120, e=30, r=108. } 18+90+78+96+126+120+30+108=666. the mark of the beast is the mark of the computer and that would be what? a bar code?

Did anyone know that next year in 2008, all persons in the US will be required to get a national ID? You will need this in order to drive your car, get a job, open a bank account, get credit cards & etc. And if you refuse, you cant do any of those things?What do ya think of this?
I dont think American people should have this since we are in America. It should be the foreigners & such. But this is gonna be worldwide supposedly. Its been voted by the congress & such. 100% votes for this.

When the computer was first built, it was huge, they nicknamed it "the beast".

When the "bar code" came out, there was a lot of talk that it was in fact the "mark", but since then we have seen the RFID microchips implanted in humans and animals alike. Its hard saying what the mark of the beast actually will be. We just know that it will be offered to be placed on the forehand or forehead.

If in fact the "National ID" comes on the scene, we can thank the government for this. It has only been talked about during the last six years, really five years.

I will refuse to take any mark upon my body. If that means I can't buy, sell, or trade sobeit.

I understand what you are saying, and I agree with what you imply. But the "666" is not the mark of the beast but the mark of Divine Justice. Think about it.

Everything that happens to people is something they have deserved and, or undertaken willingly, even Jesus dying on the cross. Suffering, humiliation and injustice are negative energy eliminating negative traits from people's consciousness.

The notion that 666 is the mark of the beast stems from exceptional acts of justice being performed by God upon the most sacriligious religious leaders throughout the history of Christanity. As their own suffering and loss was involved, and as the 666 was somehow connected, it is humans that attributed the 666 the negative connotation.

In fact, 666 is the highest sign of Divine Justice, You fight fire with fire!

Your question is an intelligent one, I hope you can take a different, but an intelligent answer. Read "Rational Spirituality" available on the Dhaxem website, and your own views may change.

So, do you believe in your cause so much that if this supposed National ID card comes into effect, you will give your right to drive your card, be employed, and manage your money at the bank of your choice? Is it really your plan to give up all of these things just to be sure that you aren't paving the way to take the mark of the beast?

You only feel this way- because this is what you have read..If you did not get the information from somewhere you would not put so much energy into fretting in one way or another. Take a deep breath and ask yourself- Do I believe everything I am told/read/see...????

I am familiar with the National ID card. I think it would be most beneficial. People worried like this when credit cards were introduced- yet now, most of the majority has one...go figure...


Don't worry about something as minor and helpful as this...i know I know- easier said than done...

BTW-666 is not a bad number- it is only an interpretation...you get out what you put in...nothing is bad in and of itself...

Yeah! I understand that becoming a Scientologist makes you fat too! How can you believe such dreck? I'm pretty certain that the men who wrote the Bible never envisioned credit cards, photo I.D.
bank accounts andf whatnot. Isn't there enough to worry about without bringing up scarey stories about evil numbers taking over the world? And what about those Teletubbies? Huh?

Not sure if you realize this, but the US doesn't have jurisdiction over everyone in the world. They just think they do.

If you wanna stay off the grid, maybe you better hole up in some compound in Montana, or better yet, somewhere in the depths of Central Asia. Osama Bin Laden seems to be able to avoid detection there.

You are close. It is a mathematical thing, but not as you seem to think. I'm not sure about any mark, but the year 666, and multiples of that year are years that the evil one is allowed more rein. for instance, around that time (we're not really sure where year zero is, however, so you have to give or take a few years), the arab nation began a great uprising against Christianity 666 years later (in the 1300's), the Black Plague swallowed nearly 2/3's of the world's population. 666 years after that, (which would be 1998?), disease is rampant, apostacy, famine, natural disasters on the rise, you name it, it's there. I would say that the evil one is in his glory. Every man woman and child seems to be in danger of losing their soul.

I have an RFID chip implanted in my arm with, among other things , a national ID number , a military ID number and a PGP public key.
It stings when it's implanted, then you just forget about it.
It's wonderfull to be able to get through security at my workplace without having to grab an ID card of type in a PIN code.
