Oh yes it is! It's quite embarrassing to post something like this, but it IS a sin, and sexual lust is a very powerful bondage! It will cause you to think impurely. Do not take it lightly! Such verses as 1 Timothy 4:12 (stay pure) and 2 Timothy 22:2 (flee from youthful lusts) tells us so! Also, when you are masturbating, you're hurting the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is your body. When Christ bought that body from you, it is His, not yours! So keep it holy! I'm just letting you know, and DON'T be fooled by those "Christians," who probably are backslidden, who say it's okay, and that it relieves your stresses, etc. They are taking worldly advice, which in Psalm 1 tells us not to take counsel from the ungodly. If you're a Christian, and you don't care if it's wrong, you need to start walking with the Lord! I continued going to church, reading my Bible daily, and praying daily, and I'm free of this particular bondage; praise the Lord! I've only been saved for 1 year too! :)

are you kidding me?

whats better, indulging lusts with young girls and being depraved.

or, in the safety of your own home, refresh yourself with self pleasure.

you must pick the lesser of the 2 evils.

The Bible does not discuss masturbation at all. First of all, sex was created by God for procreative purposes, physical enjoyment, and the demonstration of intimacy between a husband and a wife.
What if someone masturbates with absolutely no sexual fantasy of any sort. Is it then sinful? this is difficult to answer. But, since the Bible doesn't condemn or condone it, can we make dogmatic assertions? what if a person masturbates in order to reduce the sexual urge in an attempt to not commit fornication? Is it then sinful?

It's natural, healthy and enjoyable. Nothing wrong with it.
And by the way, your personal interpretation of tales and legends inspired by middle eastern bronze age goat herders is wrong.

what about rhetorically jacking off? You seem to be quite adept at that.
