it's so frustrating. i've tried topical creams/gels, proactiv, all drug store brands, department store brands, etc. nothing seems to help. i'm allergic to benzoyl peroxide because i have sensitive skin. is there even a product that is compatible for me? i've been to the dermatologist and have taken prescribed pills too. this has been so frustrating. any suggestions are appreciated.

Same here darlin', except I'm twice your age & I'll still have it when I'm 80!
I share your skin sensitivies too, and the one thing that I've used for years with great success is Acne Statin.
I use it for a moisturizer also, and it even takes care of cystic acne.
It's available on line, and guaranteed, go for it, & I think you'll be really happy, just follow the directions to the letter.

I was in your shoes not too long ago! I'm not 24 years old and just now getting rid of my acne! I finally found a dermatologist that put me on accutane treatment....they are pills you take on a daily basis and let me tell you, THEY ARE A MIRACLE! I am no longer embarrassed to go out without foundation or makeup on my face. There are side effects with this treatment including dry skin but nothing some heavy moisturizing cream can't fix until the treatment is over....I'm so happy I finally found something that worked and maybe this can work for you too! Talk to your dermatologist about it and see if it's right for you...I know I NEVER felt better!
BEST OF LUCK!

Since sylvia548 has suggested the same remedy I would of mentioned I am going to say use this remedy, I am a firm believer in Apple Cider Vinegar and use it for everything inclucing cleaning and beauty aids, I also use herbal and aromatherapy for skin problems, You can also use Tea Tree oil and Tea Tree soap these are very effective and gentle and will clear up your skin problems, you can also use a dab of Toothpaste on the blemish over night also place a bandaid over this blemish to avoid rubbing off on clothes and pillow. Lemon juice applied to the blemish is also effective when applied three to four times a day. Good Luck !

I know what you are going through. Take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2-3 x day. It gets rid of all those nasty toxins that inhabit the body. It will cure depression and make you feel so good! Has 93 vitamins and minerals. Read the web. Also, drink 6-8 glasses of water too. Will also clean you out internally. Hair and nails will grow and become strong.

Do you wear makeup? If you do, then that could be the problem. Whenever I wear makeup often, I break out. You should stop wearing foundation at least (it's not "normal" for your skin to be covered with it, anyways). Also, drink more water and you can always try witch hazel or tea trea oil (dab some on a cotton ball and wipe your face with it twice a day).

Also, make sure you wash your hands and don't touch your face during the day.
