Both are correct answers: Everclear is a very powerful grain alcohol, usually 150 proof or 190 proof (75 or 95% alcohol), while Absinthe contains tujone, which causes hallucination.

However, if you are buying this in the US, as absinthe is illegal, it would just taste like absinthe. I would describe the taste of absinthe as bitter, but certainly better than straight everclear.

I would suggest that you NOT drink this everclear/absinthe mix straight...75% / 95% alcohol is a dangerous beast.

Absinthe Flavoring

In regards to real absinthe, click the link below. As for the question, yes, it's an alcoholic beverage, though I don't know how much 'beverage' is in there. Everclear is as strong as it gets to start; the 'absinthe flavoring' is extremely similar to the taste of licorice. I had some and didn't feel any real effects outside of what happens when you normally consume a highly alcoholic drink. For my own tastes, I say "pass" and move on to the Guinness.

Absinthe is that glowing green drink that you can get in other countries (illegal in the US). It contains an Herb that is closely related to THC. If you go to www.greendevil.com you can buy a kit to make Absinthe. You let the herbs soak in Everclear and vodka for a few weeks and you come out with a cheep form of Absinthe. But to make it like you get it overseas you have to distille it which is illegal to to here. I made a batch myself, I actually didn't mind the flavor but everyone else that tried it could not stand it. But the good news is when you shoot it it involves flame!!! I did not hallucinate myself but take about 7 shots and you will be hitting the floor, be very careful with it.

Not entirely sure, but it'd be extremely alcoholic.

I'm not sure if the flavoring means they are actually putting absinthe in or if they are just adding some artifical flavor.

Yeah i'm pretty sure everclear is about 100% alcohol..... the absinthe i've had was 150 proof...i think thats pretty standard.

ANywyas, the alcohol content is'nt suppose to make you hallucinate...its the wormwood....but from my experience....you get soo drunk pretty fast that it doesn't matter.

Yes that would be a very strong alcoholic beverage. Everclear is like 100% grain alcohol. and Absinthe is so strong that it can cause you to hallucinate! Be careful with this drink.

Absinthe is illegal in the US to be sold in stores...it can only be purchased online for shipment to your house.
