in the book (since they had to change the characters names) is richardpelzer actualy russel in the book???

i was wondering this because i saw a book that richard pelzar had wrote a couple of books about his childhood and he said that he was daves younger brother. so is this russel or could it be the other younger brother in the book kevin well thank you for your help

Great catch! I did not realize that Dave had changed the names of the characters in his book. It may well be that this Richard is Russell in the book. Especially if he has written a book of his own.
To be absolutely sure I would suggest that you look at the back of the book for contact information and ask him.
