Yes, red wine comes from grapes which is exactly how it got its color. It is rich in phytonutrients ( from the greek word phyton for plants) meaning nutrients from plants.Specifically they contain flavonoids from red grapes which is known to boost immunity and fight cancer. Another important nutrient is polyphenols which studies show to suppress the production of protein that causes the blood vessels to constict thus reducing the flow of oxygen to the heart.
Sayings and studies claiming longevity and good health to wine drinkers should be taken with caution. Its likely the the health benefits were due to the antioxidant properties of the red grape skins rather than the wine itself. The harmful effects of too much alcohol on health may far outweigh the benefits of moderate drinking. Its is preffered to eat a handful of red grapes than drink a glass of wine if it is health your after! Cheers!

Doctors say that 1-2 glasses of red wine a day is good for our health. One of the reasons is its antioxidant quality. The other is that red wine contains a substance that comes from the grape skin (I cannot remember that latin word now). This is supposed to help keep arterie open for healthy blood flow. Heart and artery diseases are relatively very low in red wine consuming regions of the world (i.e. France, Italy, Spain...). They are trying to find a way of adding that chemical into white wine as well.

Red Wine, like grapes, contains antioxidants that are good for you. It's considered a good source for adults as it is a readily available source and easy to find in most modern American diets. It can improve heart health, which is why it's important. However, just like everything, if you take too much, you take away all the benefits. So, it's recommended at about 4 glasses a week.

You change into overheated via actual exercising 4. You change into intoxicated 5. you're an underage drinker 6. you're an alcoholic that should not be ingesting! you would try chilling distinct the lighter varietals and playing a wine spritzer in the course of the nice and cozy temperature of the afternoon.

It's a great antioxidant, if u don't drink tea, red wine should be good, though execessive and constant consumption would impair your liver, which could cause death. So drink with moderation, otherwise, tea will definitely be the ideal choice for antioxidant.
