I've just started college and have had a crush on this guy since early first semester. He's about 4 years older than me but only a sophomore. Anywhoo, I began to like him after a fencing match. As I found out more about him, I discovered he was a pretty cool guy and a lot like me. I told my buddies about him, just to share my excitement. As Valentine's day neared, on of my friends gave him a candy heart that said "I love you" and told him it was from me. About a month later, another friend of mine asked out in the open if that was the guy I liked. Then a few days later the first friend told him straight up that I had a crush on him. He said "I know." Now what bothers me is his response. If he knows I like him why doesn't he say something to me about it? He doesn't have to like me back. But I feel like he's playing with my mind. Each time a friend told him I liked him, he stared at me point blank. What does that mean?

hmm well to me it sounds like he isnt sure weither he has an interest in you or not. Give it a little time(not a whole lot), if he doesnt make a move or say anything to you then approach him and tell him how you feel. If ur too shy to do that then wait it out for a little bit (again not too long) and if he doesnt make a move then move on.

it means that he doesn't feel the same way about you or is not sure exactly how he feels which can sometimes happen. I don't know why you would feel played that he doesn't say anything since you and him have nothing together.

Maybe he is basking with the idea that he is hot, according to what you told your friends. It is ok to tell a close friend, but don't put it in the stars and stripes. Be discreet.

Sorry to say this, but if he knows and hasn't done anything about it, he's either..
A) Way way too shy.
B) Doesn't feel the same way about you and doesn't want to hurt your feelings by telling you that.

Maybe he's scared shitless of asking you out... sounds a lot like me... heh....
Ahh, the wonders of love.
Anyways, either
a) He's quite shy around you and feels awkward, and is afraid to mess up... typical situation in my case :D But in this scenerio, he's interested.
or...
b) He has no interest in you whatsoever, and would really like to get your friends off his back.
