How do you get rid of the redness under your nose?

I have had a little bit of a sinus infection and have pictures with my fiance on Monday; and from blowing my nose and wipping it and everything the skin under my nose has become red and a little dry. What can I do that will get rid of it quickly?

1. Wiping is abrasive to the skin. Try a softer tissue and don't press too hard. When you have a cold, this is hard to avoid.
2. Protect the skin. Moisturizer, even hand lotion will help.
3. Keep the skin away from other irritants such as sun and wind.
4. Get plenty of rest.
5. I'll assume you don't smoke. If you do, then quit.
6. Cover with makeup, as had been mentioned previously.
7. Let the photographer know so that he can adjust the posing and lighting to reduce emphasis on the affected area. He can also make a note to digitally modify the discoloration.
