Infidelity. Oh, those infidels! Infidelity leads to those other things. It's a biggie, I'd say. In order to "cure" infidelity, we can take lessons from dogs. Yes, the dog's religion is the best for infidels. Dogs are loyal. Even wild dogs are loyal. So what if they eat cat scat? They can run with the tremendous joy they feel in their entire bodies, and when they howl, its an unearthly Halleluiah chorus that will send shivers down your spine! yes, those dogs are wonderful. They are the answer to the infidelity in the world. Everyone should have a dog.

Of the listed problems, I would say that the worst is murder. I think most people would, so that's no amazing choice on my part.
I think the one thing that would make the world better would be the discarding of religions. Not the discarding of faith or belief in God, but discarding the different religious sect/organized religion, which in itself incites a great deal of hate. This hate in turn leads to many of the worst problems in our world.

Violence!
It's the core violation of liberty: freedom until it infringes on the freedom of others. Harm none. The golden rule. Whatever you want to call it.
I'm idealistic, but I think that all violence, whether in the name of religion, philosophy, or government, is the worst kind of evil in the world. Something may be a lesser evil or a necessary evil, but that does not make it good.

I was going to say, religion, but Ronin got there first. Get rid of religion, and we instantly solve the worst problems in Iraq, Iran, Kashmir, Chechniya, Palestine, and a number of other places.
