Yes it is ok. If you have a herpes outbreak it needs to be taken care of before you deliver. If it is not resolved and you are planning to have a vaginal delivery the doctor will not allow you. As this could get passed to the baby and cause blindness.

So yes, it is ok for a pregnant mom to take this. Your doctor should know if it's safe to give to you in the first place.

It is a category B drug, which means if the benefits outweigh the risks then take it. I took it for my entire pregnancy, I don't have genital herpes but have eczema herpeticum which basically means where I get my eczema the herpes virus appears -- mainly on my face.
So I took one pill a day for 8 months during pregnancy and delivered a VERY healthy little boy!!!

Eczema patients can avoid scratchy fibers for softer ones like bamboo, cotton, or silk, which are gentler on the skin. Opting to buy organic fibers can also be a wise, healthy, and eco-friendly alternative. Learn here https://tr.im/r3hba

I observed my perinatologist (intense threat ob) this week, and informed him if its ok that I sneeze plenty (in many situations violently) as a results of fact of allergies. He stated that girls have been prevalent to interrupt their waters on the same time as sneezing so he informed me to take over-the-counter zyrtec or claritin. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, i could ask your wellbeing care provider first until now taking any medicine.
