I THINK THE MEDICATION THAT YOU TAKE IS PROBABLY CAUSING YOUR PROBLEM. DEPRESSION AND MOOD SWINGS AND A NATURALLY LOW LIBIDO CAN CAUSE THIS. DO NOT BE ANXIOUS ABOUT THIS, JUST ACCEPT IT AND BE KIND AND LOVING TO ANYONE YOU MEET. TRY AND INTEREST YOURSELF IN A VARIETY OF THINGS. I WISH YOU WELL.
Sorry about the uppercase letters, somehow the button was on. Also, psychosis is an inheritent symtoms of the mind and do not take it as an illness of the Brain. Your medication must be some sort of strong Tranqulisers, and your subsequent change the Doc. gave you must the stronger one perhaps it must be called either ""PAROXTINE! or you are on high strength Diazepam. Try, not to rely on them too much as they are very addictive, if you are adicted to your medication, than you must take them regular at the time specified by your GP. They wear out in the body and than he has to keep giving stronger in mg. But, you will be alright in a later part of your life depending how old you are. The secret is here we both husband and wife both suffer from the symptoms strongly, and our Daughter got it bad and now she is off all the pills or what ever and enjoying life to the full. That what you will be I pray. What ever you do, enjoy life to the best you can and to the full and do not add more pills on top of each other as eventually you will be free of them. Live for the day and forget yesterday as it has gone, tomorrow yet to come, say that to your self and be happy.
Kindest regards
ACR.

It could be a side effect of the medication, read the leaflet given with the medication it lists possible side effects.......
Im taking Amusilpride 200mg a day, one of the side effects is impotence, along with loads of others, if you had a high sex drive before the medication, then its the pills,if you can still get aroused sometimes then it may be your condition, it could be to do with imbalance in hormones caused by your condition, ask the doctor talk with him about it, if its the medication they may change it, but if you feel ok on it then ask for another way for this to be dealt with, good luck

I would say it was probably your medication as i know that many of the anti depressants i have been prescribed in the past have had the same effect. You could visit the doc explain the situation although my new outlook on life is if i am happy now and mental state is under control then to sacrifice a fumble is worth it besides there are more ways to show you care.

hard to answer since you did not mention what medication you are on, however wellbutrin can often combat the side effects of the SSRI's and periactin can as well. If it is not an SSRI you are suspecting, talk with your doc about other causes and treatments. Blood pressure meds and diabetes can contribute to decreased desire as well.

some docs let patients skip a couple of days medication-so they can avoid the lack of interest in sex,and enjoy it-but you must ask your doctor if its ok-not all people on all medications can benefit.

As you don't appear to be depressed - it's your medication.
