I have this wonderful boyfriend and I am in love with him. But he lies......to make himself look better, or for no reason at all sometimes.

Sure, it's possible. But it isn't really a good idea. You say you are in love with him...but do you really even know who he is? The person you love may be a front he puts on for you just like he does for everyone else. If he lies to others, sooner or later he will lie to you as well. Think long and hard about whether you want to put yourself through that kind of hardship.
