War is not anything you can imagine. Yea sure, you can think you know all you want to... until you suddenly find yourself hiding behind some wall or truck listening to bullets sweeze by your head, you have no idea.

The truth is that all these neanderthal tough guys, etc... half of them are crying for Momma and throwing up when the crap hits the fan. I'm not kidding. Many journalists have written about this. I'm not calling them weak, I'm saying it is not the big heroic blah blah that you see in the movies. There is blood, crying, screaming, death, fear, etc.... everywhere.

To Russia with Love,
To reply to your reply, The U.S. and Russia don't trade much. We do give Russia a huge amount of aid money every year. You guys don't buy our goods because you don't have any money to do so. Further more if you didn't make the worlds best vodka we wouldn't care so much about helping your people. You had better keep the Good vodka recipe hidden.
To answer this question-Death is a part of life. It is unfortunate that murder and war are also part of that circle. Having drinks and BBQ sure makes having to deal with the death part manageable, not easy just easier.

um yeah but having to see death and all that every day body parts from blown up bodies. i had a bf that was in the army and went to iraq the second time changed him so much we couldn't stay together. all he would say is you can't imagine what i go through daily over here. it's not just the death that's terrible. it's also knowing if you make one slight mistake you are responsible for several deaths not just your own. for example they would hide on roof tops. one night we were on the phone while he was on a roof top in the back ground i heard someone kick what sounded like a pipe and he immediately with out missing a beat said 'i gotta go we're moving to another spot' and hung up with out saying another word. maybe we should drop you off and let you fight it out with the insurgents. having to round up the bodies of young children, pregnant women, collect body parts..... should i continue or is that enough?

Wow, really? Really? So im assuming that you have never been in a combat situation, since you asked such a stupid question. You'd change your thoughts if you rode with us in the desert for even one day.
