well not in Germany we really don't have any blacks but in the USA I saw a black man approach a girl at a store when the lady ignored him and wakjed really fast I felt sorry for the guy all he wanted was to buy a flat screen TV this hapend in the USA

I suppose that it would depend on exactly what sort of black person he's used to hanging out with.

Because here in America, you can be branded a racist if you don't act exactly right. For example, calling them "blacks" in America as opposed to "black people" would be considered somewhat racist. Us whites are afraid that we will be labeled as a racist.

Also, there is a stereotype of black people in America portrayed as "thugs" or "gangsters," resulting from the media.

It's not just white people, black people are scared of black people too. If a stereotype that is propagated by the media. We are raised from birth to believe that black males either deal drugs or play football. Sometimes both. You have to change your heart.

Not all white people are scared of black people. Dont put all white people in the same category because of one incident you saw. She might have been afraid because of something that happened to her in the past.

Not where I live, it's pretty diverse here. I went to a mostly black high school growing up, they were cool with me.

we're not all worried about black people. i have black family members in my fam and I'm white. some people can be really rude. and we know German woman love black people.

I am not afraid of Black people. The only people I walk quickly away from are panhandlers.. no matter what color they are.

Lack of familiarity. We trust those we know. If that is limited to a group of one skin color or ethnic type, then we are more likely to fear others.
