this guy in school i like, he likes me back, but hes shy. so i asked him out. anyways, my question is, if a guy doesnt kiss a girl after the date, b/c hes shy, can a girl do it instead. from wat i see on dates, movies, the guy always does it. and the girl is suppose to wait for him to do it. is that true? does it matter really, or maybe il will bother the guy that he didnt have the guts to do it?

actually...most guys like girls who make the first move. my friend went out with my friend who is on our football team and he is really talkative but when it comes to getting close to a girl he sucks so my friend made the first move and surprisingly all went well and they are together rite now.

How old are you? Don't go judging things based on movies. Don't expect people to always kiss on the first date, or even the second. Get to know him better and move in slowly. He may not be the one to make the advances and it's ok if you have to take the more aggressive stance. But if you are too aggressive too fast, you'll probably scare him away. The most important thing in the early stages of romance is timing.

Yeah, he'll be really annoyed if you kiss him.
If he didn't kiss you, it isn't because he is shy, it's because he just isn't into you.
