Just wondering what anyone out there ( in Australia ) would pay for a 5 and a half month old bullmastif pup. Desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed.

Cheers, Nedbella

Sorry, i should have explained better....I am the one selling the pup. I am unable to keep her at my sister's house and as i live with my parents, my mum's dog will not accept the bullmastif into the home...She was purchased from a registered breeder who breeds Australian Champions. She is a beautiful girl with a kink in her tail. I was just wanting some feedback on the price i have on her. I have $600 on her. I'm actually losing money, but if i find her a good home, then that is all that matters.
Thanks to all who answered. I was also unaware that Bullmastif's were outlawed. Never heard this before. I've always found the breed to be extremely gentle. Thanks to all who answered. Is there anyone in or near Nowra ( NSW south coast ) who would be interested. Cheers, Nedbella.

Most pure bred mastiff pups will go for over $1000 (in US funds) for a pet qauality (much more for show). Not sure what that translates to in your funds, but generally, they are fairly expensive to buy.

I would be skeptical about them being illegal. BTW

My sister paid $900 for a non-registered king charles cavalier puppy and she had to travel from Central Queensland to Brisbane, which is a good day's trip. When she came home, she had an umbilical hernia and only recently been desexed and the hernia fixed. So yes, if it comes from a reputable purebred breeder, that is usually the average price. Bull mastif and napolitan mastiffs are one the most sweetest and intelligent, but drools a lot, in the large breeds, which is good, as long as you have the space and energy to look after it properly. Hope this helps, good luck in your search!

no way, these dogs are outlaws in Australia due to their instability and they have a tendancy to attack children. Try another breed.
