how can we arrive at a time frame to calculate the creation of the universe by God if he did not have a beginning. He has always been. You need to know when God became God to work out how long it was before he created the universe. You cant go back far enough in time to work out when he started to create everything at some point in time because there is no starting time to help you work it out .Ihope this makes some sense

Time began when our universe began. It didn't exist before, nor does it exist in heaven, where God dwells.

As for the reason God created us ... he says in the Bible, that he did it for his own pleasure.

Makes sense to me. He wanted to do it, so he did.

I had those exact same questions! Try Try Try Same answer: God Always Was.
I refused to believe many things. I "took on" a Pastor. I guess I was an angry person.

But, if you ever become a believer and faith takes over, you will gladly be a friend of God. And he yours.
Speaking with experience, the latter is best.
BTW, He loves the questions. Sorry I couldnt answer exactly what you wanted to know. I have faith and dont really need to know. Faith is the evidence of things not seen.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God
He is the Beginning and the End.
The Alpha and the Omega.
The First and the Last.
Man's wisdom is foolishness to God. He is All Knowing.
His ways are higher than our ways and our finite minds are not capapable of understanding all the mysteries of Almighty God.
That is where faith comes in. Faith is believing without seeing.
If you will accept His Son Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, when you get to heaven then you can ask Almighty God, but if you make it to heaven, that question will probably not matter much then.

Sometimes an eternity can become boredom. So "God" and "Satan" decide to play a game. God will create a world full of intelligent life. Then God and Satan will try to recruit these "humans." When they both feel that they have a good sized army, they will fight. This is called Armaggedon.

Time is irrelevant.

i think that God created us because of fact the atheist suggestions are hypotheses and theories-none of them have been shown. i think that God created us and Jesus died for our sins. in case you decide directly to verify what you think you're able to desire to examine: The Bible -John(tells what Christians have faith) and -Genesis(how God created the earth) i think that God created the earth in six days and then on the seventh day He gave us an afternoon of relax: "The beneficent writer, after the six days of creation, rested on the seventh day and instituted the Sabbath for all and sundry as a memorial of creation. The fourth commandment of God's unchangeable regulation demands the obervance of this seventh-day Sabbath because of fact the day of relax, worship, and ministry in team spirit with the coaching and practice of Jesus, the Lord of the Sabbath. The Sabbath is an afternoon of friendly communion with God and one yet another. it somewhat is a logo of our redemption in Christ, an illustration of our sanctification, a token of our allegiance, and a foretaste of our eternal destiny in God's kingdom. The Sabbath is God's perpetual sign of His eternal covenant between Him and His people. chuffed observance of this holy time from night to night, sunset to sunset, is a occasion of God's ingenious and redemptive acts. (Genesis 2:a million-3; Exodus 20:8-11; Luke 4:sixteen; Isaiah fifty six:5, 6; fifty 8:13, 14; Matthew 12:a million-12; Exodus 31:13-17; Ezekiel 20:12,20; Deuteronomy 5:12-15; Hebrews 4:a million-11; Leviticus 23:32; Mark a million:32)"

It depends on what or who do you consider to be God. Some people consider Jesus Christ as God, some can not even call the name "God", some have hundred of Gods, some think their leader is God, some think there has never been God around.
It's your own opinion what matters the most.

You do not need to know when I was born to know when I posted this reply. You just look at the little tag at the end of my post.

religion, as life itself, cannot be explained. anyone who thinks they can, is just fooling themselves and others. you will know what happens when you kick the bucket. man invented a time frame. when your talking about forever, there is no time. i really wish people could understand that theres no way they can comprehend any of this. you can listen to this preacher, or another one, but the fact remains, you just dont know.
