Ok, lets say I'm a guy you've known for a while. Then I start trying to date you. Then you blow off my calls and I reacted by telling you to stop playing mind games and grow up. What would you think of my behavior?

Be honest...

you sound very hurt, perhaps you became attached to the idea that you and the girl would be an item, and when it did not happen you reacted with anger. It is a bit immature, because your communication was just to hurt her, the way you felt she hurt you. Instead of being so negative with your response, perhaps next time you could use more of a nonvilolent communication.

From what you wrote, I think she wasn't interested and was just trying to let you down with out having to tell you she wasn't into you. Now she can just use the excuse of you acting immature to end it. When really she probably wasn't into it. I don't think it was mind games, more of not wanting to hurt you by directly saying it.

Then again, this is all just kind of what I think based on the little info you wrote.. I may be off.. Good luck!

Well...no woman is really going to react positively to being told to "stop playing mind games and grow up," ya know? I mean, even if you're right (and I have no way of knowing if you are or not), you're pretty much going to get a negative reaction on that one.

i probably would be upset with you and think you were a jerk. sorry! (you said to be honest) that is my first gut reaction after reading your question. now, i don't know all the details, but should i assume that the reason you said (or are thinking of saying) that i was playing mind games and to grow up is because you felt i liked you back? guy/girl friendships can be quite confusing. sometimes things might be perceived as "he/she likes me", when the reality is that friendship albeit it, a strong friendship is all that exist. i know unrequited love must be terribly painful, but if its really not meant to be, you can't do anything about it except move on. now the question you need to ask yourself is...is it worth losing this friendship?

Childish, maybe am not interested or maybe you should be patient and wait for my return call, some women feel more important in making the guy wait it makes it more interesting I guess, as for me if I like the guy I will call back and see what his all about.

It sounds like there is a lack of communication between you two.
If she is ignoring your calls she is trying to tell you "I'm not interested in dating you".

I would have expected you to do something like that, so it wouldn't really matter. I would just tell you never to ask me out again and leave.
