I think I got mine from like Target or Walmart or somewhere like that. I'm pretty sure it came with the dishes on it. My oldest cat is 17, so it was a while ago.

I use "Pet Taxi" crate when I trave with my cat on airplanes. You do not have to attach food and water bowls to the crate if you do not want to. That reuirement from the airlines is just in case you plan for your pet to eat inside the crate (bad idea!). Most pets that travel on planes are fed and watered (by the owner) two or three hours before the flight. Your cat will not eat or drink anything while in transport! As long as the cat crate or carrier is sturdy, lockable, and big enough for your cat to stand and lay down in, its OK. Oh... Some "Pet Taxi's" do have a compartment at the top for keeping dry pet food or treats - but I have never had to use those before. The last thing your cat will want to do while traveing is eat and drink - so you need to feed and water her a few hours before the actual fight.
You can buy "Pet Taxi" from Petco or PetSmart.

Most crates do not have food and water dishes like that included. You will usually have to buy them seperately. Petsmart and Petco have a variety of them, including spill-proof water dishes, and special absorbant mats for the bottom of your pet's travel carrier. These accessories go a long way towards making a regular crate much more travel-safe and comfortable for your pet, as well as airline-acceptable.

You could get a regular carrying crate with metal bars on the door, and wire food and water dishes to the inside of the door...
Hope that helps!

Since it is the airlines requirement, ask them! They may have them available to rent. If you are moving you probably won't need the cage again until who know when. You best bet is to just rent one and not worry about storing it.
