I don't quite understand it. The driving instructor only did it with me once and didnt really explain. From what i get, starting out on the right side, your turn your weel all the way to the left and pull as far as you can get, put it in reverse, turn your wheel all the way to the right, back up as far as possible, turn it back to the left, pull up and straighten out. Is this correct? I need to know it for the driving test..... Help would be appreciated!

Yes you've basically got it. A three point turn is when you need to turn around 180 degrees and you should be able to do this in three moves (foward, reverse, foward). You want to start as far to the right as possible, turn your wheel all the way to the left, and then push on the gas. Right before you hit whatever is in front of you (a curb on the test), brake, put the car in reverse, turn your wheel all the way to the right, push on the gas (in reverse). Again, right before you hit whatever is behind you, break, put the car in drive, turn the wheel all the way to the left, push on the gas. This time you should clear the curb in front of you and end up next to the curb on the other side of where you started. If you can't quite make it in three moves, most states will let you have up to 5. But you must be straight and make sure you put the car in reverse or forward first, then turn your wheel all the way, then push on the gas and go. Good luck

It's not called a 3 point turn anymore,
You don't have to do it in 3 stages and will not go against you if you did it in more than 3.
Remember look over both shoulders before any stage of the turn
