For the Thai people , Thai Language?

Question

I was wondering if anyone can translate my daughters name from English into Thai using Thai script. I would very much like to get her name done in a tatoo on the back of my neck. I have tried Thai translation web sites and don't seem to be having any luck.

Her name is: Zabrina

ซาบรีน่า
ซา =sar
บรี = bree
น่า = na
This is more like sound for sound translation. Any Thais can pronounce this close to the English sound.
This is better than having the girlfriend's name because your daughter is always yours. You don't have to worry about irrelevant name on your body for the rest of your life.

The Thai websites only helps with the translation of words, just like a dictionary does. But English names and surnames doesn't mean anything in Thai, so there wouldn't be any Thai entries at all. The only way for this is to transliterate them from the sound and tone they make when pronounced in English then assign the equivalent Thai character combinations that will produce the same sound and tone in Thai.

The Thai-script for Zabrina would be สับรีนา

Note that in the Thai alphabet there are no letters equivalent to English characters "Z", "G", and "V". So there is no distinction between "Zabrina" and "Sabrina" in the Thai script. The "Z" is simply replaced with "S".

"สับรีนา", that's her name in Thai script, but be careful cause they read it differently, they read it "Sabarina", but I don't think it doesn't mean anything to them. Hope you'll be happy with my answer.
